SCSC August Luncheon: Active Shooter Training

Join us August 14 for a powerful session with Chris Moffitt, an ALICE instructor and officer with the Hubbard Police Department.

Learn how to respond in the event of an active shooter. Officer Moffitt will explain the ALICE method—Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate—designed to give everyday people the tools to survive by taking action: fight, flee, but never freeze.

Help the Stark County Safety Council win the Foodbank Drive Challenge against other Ohio Safety Councils!

The Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank will be onsite at the August luncheon. Bring a donation for a chance to win a $50 Visa gift card!

Please bring these most-needed items:

• Boxed cereal, peanut butter, mac & cheese
• Canned soup, veggies, fruit, tuna, and meats
• Rice, pasta, beans, condiments, dressings
• Cleaning supplies & paper products
• Personal care items (shampoo, deodorant, etc.)
• No opened items or glass containers, please.
