About

The Stuckey Family Interfaith Child Development Center was founded in 1968 by a group of individuals who saw the need for quality care for working mothers. We are located in the Alliance YMCA, 205 S. Union Avenue, Alliance, OH 44601.

The center is a professional development school serving families in the surrounding counties by offering a sliding fee scale and access to subsidized childcare. We exist to provide a developmentally appropriate education to preschoolers in a Christian atmosphere, to support and educate families of children we serve, and to embrace families of all religious and ethnic origins.

Every child is a unique individual and the program is planned to meet each child’s needs at each stage of development. A young child learns best in a safe, supportive atmosphere that encourages a variety of learning experiences and generates a feeling of value and self-esteem.

Our center is licensed to operate legally through the State of Ohio’s Department of Job and Family Services and is accredited through the NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children). The center does not discriminate in the enrollment of children on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
