NAMI The National Alliance On Mental Illness is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of persons living with serious mental illness and their families. Founded in 1979, NAMI has become the nation’s voice on mental illness, a nationwide organization. NAMI is dedicated to the eradication of mental illnesses and to the improvement of the quality for those whose lives are impacted by these mental illness disorders. NAMI Stark County works to “Provide Hope for Recovery for Persons and Families Impacted by Mental Illness”. We are dedicated to improving the lives of persons and families in Stark County who have been impacted by mental illness through free NAMI education programs and presentations, support groups and advocacy.
